Patient
Education
One
of our most important goals at Dialysis At Home is to help you, your
partner, and your family learn more about kidney disease and about the
choices you have for medical treatment. It's important that you learn
new ways to prevent problems and take care of yourself.
With
this in mind, Dialysis At Home has developed classes that will give
you insight into your kidney disease and dialysis care. The information
will help you understand and successfully manage your treatment. Family
members and friends can also attend the classes. The Dialysis At Home
team will help you schedule your treatment time so that you can attend
the classes that interest you. By going to class, you can learn about
your treatment, meet other people with similar problems, and learn how
to take better care of yourself so that you can stay as healthy as possible.
As part of patient education, handbooks and other written material will
be made available to you.
Class
topics include:
The

Types of Kidney Disease

their partners, and their families to attend.
